Makeup Sponges

Makeup Sponges – These sponges are super soft, blend my makeup effortlessly, and are easy to clean. I even used them to put powder highlighter on and it worked even better than my brush.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback! We appreciate you and your business! I’m glad to hear that makeup sponges are working wonders for you! They create a flawless, even and natural finish that is difficult to achieve with other makeup sponges, brushes or fingers. Christie

Makeup Sponges

I have tried many makeup sponges before. This inexpensive collection is by far the best. My sister, who is a professional makeup artist, sent me one to try. It worked so well that I bought the sponge set. This has replaced most of my makeup brushes. Applying cream makeup is smoother and easier than using a brush. I highly recommend them.

I like the texture of these sponges even better than my RT sponges! They are dense but still soft. And the unique shapes are very useful for various areas of the face, although I find myself reaching for the blue one with two flat sides the most.

These sponges are just as good as the beauty blenders, and at half the price! I love them!

“This is the fourth time I have ordered a product from Beauty Junkees and I am delighted every time. Fast, responsive service and fantastic quality brushes. I now only use Beauty Junkee brushes because they are so soft and durable and at such great prices!

“I have made several purchases from Beauty Junkees and have yet to be disappointed. Fantastic products at very reasonable prices. I can’t wait to purchase their entire line of brushes and sponges!”

How To Clean A Makeup Sponge

“LOVE! This is my 3rd Beauty Junkees brush set that I have purchased and I can’t say enough good things about them! VERY high quality and comparable to my Mac brushes!! And great value for money I will buy again!!”

“Beauty Junkee products are top notch! I love the brushes, I have purchased several and they last forever. They are a staple of my daily purchases and I will be purchasing many more.” By clicking “Accept All Cookies”, you agree to the storing of cookies on your device to enhance site navigation, analyze site usage, and assist in our marketing efforts.

Whether you apply makeup daily or just for special occasions, you’ll need the right tools in your arsenal. Along with a few good brushes, no modern makeup bag is complete without a few sponges. Professional makeup artist Sophia Nawabi prefers them to brushes. “They are hygienic, easier and much cheaper to dispose of after each customer’s use,” she says. “I can use my sponge wet or dry [for] completely different finishes.”

Beauty sponges are extremely versatile: they work with liquids, creams, and powders for everything from application and contouring to blending and setting. Beyond the classic pointed egg, they come in all shapes, sizes, densities and textures. To help you narrow down your search, we researched current bestsellers and tested dozens in our New York lab. Here are the best performing sponges.

After trying countless makeup sponges, Fenty’s Precision 100 was the clear winner. This medium-sized, latex-free sponge is light and airy with a soft, bouncy feel. It’s absorbent but not so absorbent that it absorbs all your makeup and leaves none on your skin. We also love its unique shape. It’s basically an egg with one flat side and a flattened mini-moon tip.

You can apply liquids and creams with precision, then blend them for an airbrushed finish. The flat side and moon tip are also perfect for stamping on finishing powder, and the rounded bottom is ideal for all-over polishing. As for cleaning, the foundation washes off easily and the beige color makes the sponge look less stained. We just wish it had a trick for reaching those tight facial crevices.

This wallet-friendly sponge is made of dense but bouncy foam and doesn’t absorb all the product. When testing, we found it very easy to mix. Although it expands to more than twice its original size when wet, we like that you can use it wet or dry.

The egg-shaped design features a pointed tip and a flat side. We used the wide, rounded base for applying creams and buffing larger areas, the flat side for smaller areas and the tip for corners. It’s also very easy to clean: all the foundation came out when we tried to wash it.

Celebrity makeup artist Renée Loiz is a big fan of Beautyblender. “They have a ton of different shapes to fit specific parts of your face,” she says.

Pampered 2 In 1 Makeup Sponge

The Original Beautyblender can be used wet or dry for application, contouring, blending, setting and baking. We thought the large egg side was perfect for the cheeks and forehead, while the pointed tip was great for contouring the nose and blending concealer under the eyes. We particularly liked the feel of this soft, bouncy sponge against our skin. Our only complaint is that it’s difficult to remove all the makeup when cleaning.

Calling it “the Goldilocks of beauty blenders,” one of our testers said this soft, bouncy sponge from L’Oréal plays well with water but isn’t too absorbent and won’t absorb so not all of your product.

The pointed pear shape isn’t particularly unique, but it is exceptionally versatile and user-friendly. It’s perfect for applying products, blending, shaping and buffing the corners of your face. This makeup sponge is also particularly easy to clean. It’s just not the best way to use it wet.

With this six-pack from Beauty Bakerie, you can designate a blender for each step of your glam routine. Each egg-shaped sponge is made from latex-free foam and features a narrower tip for easy, even application and mixing of liquids or powders.

Pack Of Two Makeup Sponges

We liked the dense yet soft and bouncy feel of the foam. Although they’re all one size, the sponges get very large when wet, and the smaller end is great for getting into the corners of your face. They’re also easy to clean, but keep in mind that the absorbent material soaks up a lot of product.
