Today’s post is SO DIFFERENT than anything I usually do, but it’s something I’m really excited about. I like makeup. I love trying new products and finding some “holy grail” products as they say in the beauty community. I’m by no means a makeup expert, but I’ve tried enough products and used them often enough to have an educated opinion. It is very important to note that I have very oily skin. Yes, I was blessed with skin that likes to get shiny and produce a lot of oil even on the coldest days, so there’s that. ALSO, another small blessing is that my skin is sensitive and likes to break out, even though I’m 28 and seem to be over the horrible pubic skin that everyone talks about. No. Certain makeup makes my oily skin break out and that’s great because if you have sensitive oily skin like mine, I’m here today to tell you what products work for my skin and what makeup gets me through the day without me. looks like bacon grease at the end of the day. Another thing to note is that I don’t wear all of these products at once or everyday, these are just a few of my favorites that I wear often. For example, I shared 4 different powders, I don’t wear them all at once, but some days I will wear one or mix two together if that makes sense. A few years ago [here] I did a skincare post that COMPLETELY changed my skin and my life for the better, and I know it helped so many people clear up their skin, so I thought maybe sharing my makeup would be great help. for those of you who don’t have perfect skin like me. Very soon I will also be doing an updated skin care routine and will be sharing my makeup products more often, hoping to share the best with you. I try a lot of products so you can use me as a guinea pig, right? These are some of my favorite 0ily Skin makeup products, but of course I will try more in the future and give you updated reviews.
Long-lasting Makeup For Oily Skin
Lancome 24 Hour Foundation: Seriously my favorite foundation ever! I apply it with a dampbeauty blender and it’s lightweight with buildable coverage. This stuff lasts all day and doesn’t clog my pores, get greasy, and best of all, doesn’t break me out.
Flawless Makeup That Lasts 16 Hours?! ?
Dip brow pommade: My go to brow filler. It’s waterproof and helps me fill in those hollow parts of my brows that I decided to pluck in 6th grade. It basically covers some of my bad life decisions, which is pretty awesome.
Tarte Waterproof Bronzer [here]: I love this matte bronzer [and the shimmer version as a blush] I use it on my cheekbones, forehead and chin to add color to my face since I don’t tan. really lasts all day. It is not orange and gives a more natural bronzing effect.
Lorac Matte Primer: I just found this face primer and I am obsessed. A foundation primer is great for people with oily skin because it helps the foundation go on smoother and last longer, but some primers can cause bad breakouts because their ingredients clog pores. This primer is mattifying and perfect for sensitive skin. It’s pretty amazing and hasn’t caused me any breakouts. Win!
Mario Bedescu Lotion: I included my favorite day lotion because makeup looks best with properly moisturized skin. Plus, if you don’t moisturize, your skin thinks it needs to produce more oil, which isn’t good for us oily-skinned people. This moisturizer has spf, is oil free and great for sensitive skin. I have used it for years and love it so much.
The Best Makeup Products For Oily Skin
Loose Powder [here]: This laura mercier loose powder is great under the eyes and I also apply it with a beauty blender. It illuminates and sets your foundation really well!
Translucent Setting Powder [here]: I use this all over my face and love it so far! It’s one of the newest products I’ve been using and it really hides your pores when you’re putting on makeup. I will update this in a later post.
Lorac Concealer: I love this under eye concealer. I buy it one shade lighter to brighten my under eyes and cover dark circles from my late night blogging. I apply it with mybeauty blender to really smooth and blend it. Love this concealer!
I know these are all high-end products, but to be honest, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that a lot of drugstore products tend to break out my sensitive skin, so I’ve invested more in anything I put on my face. Also great tip for stores like Ulta & Sephora, their return policies are great! If you don’t like an item after trying it, they’re great at letting you return the item so you can try something new. Another great thing about ulta or sephora is that they will match you to the color available in the store and also give you great insight into the products. I hope this post helps you and again these products are great for me but we all have different skin. Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and sharing it with your friends and family. It means so much to me! Be sure to find me on Facebook and Instagram for a behind-the-scenes look. xx

*Some of the links on this page may be affiliate links, but as always, all opinions are my own. Remember when I shared my top makeup products for oily skin? I’ve decided to update this list since this list was from 2017! It’s been 2 years and so many great products for oily skin people have come out. I only have oily skin in spring and summer. I have combination skin in autumn and winter. No matter what, I still stick to products that are meant for oily skin.
As opposed to making this post too long. I will choose one drugstore product and one high end product. You will only find products for primer, foundation, concealer, setting powder and setting spray. The reason for this is because these are key elements when it comes to applying makeup.
