Former President Bill Clinton on Wednesday said he’s “doing great” after returning home following treatment for a urological infection at a California hospital last week.

Speaking from a tree-lined location outside his home in Chappaqua, New York, the 75-year-old former commander-in-chief shared his health update in a video posted to his Twitter account.

“I’m really glad to be back home. I’m doing great — enjoying this beautiful fall weather,” Clinton says in the video.

While noting that he’s “on the road to recovery” following the five-day stint at UC Irvine Medical Center, Clinton also offered up his own medical advice.

“I want to remind everyone out there — take the time to listen to your bodies and care for yourselves,” Clinton said.

“We all have work to do. And each of us has an important role to play in life and in the immediate future,” he added.

“I, for one, am going to do my best to be around to keep doing the most that I can for a lot longer.”

Clinton was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday for a urinary tract infection that had spread throughout his body. However, he never went into septic shock, a potentially life-threatening condition.
